Salman 'Bhai' Khan is one man who will never mince his words and when it comes to critics he has a special love towards them. He always have some or the other sarcastic comments to make against them and he always does that in a very fun fashion rather than looking to hurt them.
Not many Salman movies managed to get reviews and ratings above 2 stars and he changed that with his Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. When the actor is coming with his Bajrangi Bhaijaan director . Kabir Khan again, many expected his Tubelight to shine bright for the critics as well, but that did not end up being the case. Critics panned his movie and the actor reacted in a comical way to that.
Salman said, " Critics surprised me with their ratings and I believe they have been highly generous with 1.5 and 2 ratings. I thought they will give -3 or -4 for my movie and this is highly unexpected." The actor also commented about the mixed response from the theatres and he said, "Fans expect my movie for EID to be a celebration but Tubelight is a sensitive film. They don't get much whistle worthy moments so, the movie is showing some slow progress at the box office. Some said to be that they don't like watching me cry on screen but they themselves are crying watching the movie due to the emotion."
Even before the release of the movie, Salman Khan challenged critics to give -100 rating for his movie and claimed that his movies are critic and review-proof at the box-office.
