Overseas market for Telugu films has increased considerably in the past few years.  US theatrical rights became a good income source for our films.  But Overseas distributors are incurring losses in the recent times by betting high on every Telugu film.   Majority of the Telugu releases which were released recently turned out to be bitter experiences for the Overseas buyers.. big budget films in particular.

In such a scenario, they are worried about the two films which are releasing on Christmas weekend.  They have invested hugely in Nani film 'MCA' and Akhil movie 'Hello'. But the situation of these two films doesn't appear to be positive.  Even though US market of Nani is stable for the last few years, 'MCA' trailer doesn't appear to suit the tastes of US Telugu audience. They may not prefer this kind of films which will have routine stuff.

On the other hand, Vikram Kumar direction is an advantage for Akhil film..but there are few minuses for 'Hello'.  The trailer is full of action.. Akhil doesn't have a market in Overseas.. his debut film was a disaster.. all these things are minus for 'Hello'.  Apart from these things, Salman Khan's latest film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' is releasing on the Christmas weekend.  The makers are releasing Salman film on a huge scale in the Overseas.  Domestically it will not have much impact on Telugu films but it will have a huge impact on Telugu films in the US.

Considering all these things, they are worried how 'MCA'.. 'Hello' are going to perform at the box office.  Nagarjuna sold the Overseas rights fo Hello for Rs.3 crores. He is reportedly planning to release a class trailer to connect with US audience.
