Andhra Pradesh Government has announced Nandi Awards for the years 2012..2013â unexpectedly. Nobody is much excited with the awards as the movies were released four.. five years ago. That is the reason why there are discussions on the awards like before. In fact, no one believed that AP government would revive Nandi Awards untill few months back. But AP government got alerted ever since Telangana government took a decision on 'Simha Awards'..and organized a committe. Without much delay AP government completed the process and announced the awards.
As AP government announced Nandi Awards the focus shifted onto Simha Awards now. Everybody is eagerly waiting for these awards. It is interesting to see.. from which year Telangana government considers these awards. Probably Telangana Government may consider from 2014 as the state formed in 2014.. or they may announce awards from the next year.
After Telangana government annouces Simha Awards either for 2014 or 2015.. AP government should also announce Nandi Awards for the same year. So, it is going to be interesting that who will choose whom for the best categories. If some movie conferred best here.. and some other movie as best there.. there is going to be huge discussion. It has to be seen how the two committees from same film industry are going to choose the awards. We have to see when Telangana government will announce Simha Awards.
