In Telugu villages, 'Panche Kattu' (Dhoti) Meesam' (mustache) are seen as important identities of a powerful person and also tradition. Not many wear such ethnic wear in cities but it is becoming a fashion these days in Telugu Cinema with many heroes trying out to show off their masculinity in panche!

Pawan Kalyan for Katamarayudu for the first time in his career, wore panche through out the film and not just in one scene or sequence like in Gabbar Singh. He looked really masculine and even the director Dolly in his interviews shared that he wanted that to be the USP of Katamarayudu. Even Pawan Kalyan accepted the look once he got the idea of how good he will be in that village head avatar.

In Duvvada Jagannadam, the more trendy, stylish star like Allu Arjun too tried his hand at the traditional wear and as the Brahmin cook, he looked more stylish and masculine than ever we must say. He even did action sequences in the same get up and looked completely stylish.

Before them, Naga Chaitanya too tried his hand at wearing panche, following in his father, Nagarjuna's footsteps, in Premam. He gave a tribute to his father's  popular Bangarraju getup and the man who normally looks like a college student from a city in his movies, this looked great on screen and even Naga Chaitanya enjoyed it as he said in many interviews.

Now, Rana Daggubati is coming in a panche for his new movie, Nene Raju Nene Mantri in the character of Jogindra. All the above actors, made an impact over their fans with their traditional yet masculine wear, will Rana also do the same? We have to wait and see.
