Vijayanirmala's death made Telugu Cinema fans worry about Superstar Krishna and his health. He and his, actor-director wife have been such great example of marriage to many that people felt sorry for Krishna after her demise.
Actor Naresh, her son shared his grief over his mother's death. He said in an interview, "My mother loved Krishna garu so much that she always gives first preference to him and then next preference to her and others.
But in her last days, she felt like she became a burden on Krishna garu due to her health condition. She used to smile in front of him but one day, she held my hands cried saying that she was the one who should be looking after him but not the other way around.
I couldn't hold back my tears too. That stress played on her health and she used to have dementia attacks regularly. She used forget things easily.
Before her demise, she made sure that Krishna garu will have one big happy family looking after him as she invited everyone regularly for dinners and saw that we all bonded well.
I miss my mother a lot but that is the way life is. She gave a house to her mentor Balasaraswathi garu a house and built all the workers who have become a part of family after working for 5 years with us, continuously, two bed-room flats. She left a void in our lives that no one can easily fill up!"
