Tollywood's top director SS Rajamouli is no longer a regional director. He has erased the boundaries and became one of India's biggest directors. He started from a small film like 'Student No.1' and now he is directing humongous films like 'Baahubali' and 'RRR'. He touched a lot of genres and worked with a lot of technicians in his entire career but the one thing that remained the same is his music director MM Keeravani.
The real-life brothers worked together for Rajamouli's films. We know that Keeravani is composer for Rajamouli as they maintain the same wavelength and understand each other perfectly. Keeravani's music plays a key role in every Rajamouli film and Rajamouli's vision helped Keeravani in expanding his range of music. There is no other director-music composer combination that were as successful as Rajamouli and Keeravani. They made 12 films together and all of them were massive hits.
Keeravani stopped working with other directors and is only working with people close to him like Raghavendar Rao and Krish. As Rajamouli's films take years to get completed, he is focusing all his energies on his brother's projects.
But Keeravani is nearing his 60s and is reportedly planning to take retirement. If this turns out to be true then it will be very difficult for Rajamouli. The ace director never worked with other music directors in his career and it may take a long time for him to get used to working with others. Keeravani's son Kaala Bhairava came into the industry but he is miles behind his dad's level. So, if Keeravani retires, who will be the one to help Rajamouli in conceiving his dream projects?
