Balakrishna’s Dada: That’s What Actually Inside
Sharing his thoughts about the movie, director Gopichand Malineni stated that Dada is not just another gangster drama set in the 80s backdrop.
Once the title-reveal teaser of senior hero Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Dada” is out, there is a widespread comparison of this film’s content with that of Pawan Kalyan’s #OG. Because this new film, crafted by Gopichand Malineni, is quite close to #OG with its Mumbai backdrop, the bloodshed, the adrenaline-rushing music and punch dialogues. The director, however, clarifies on that point quite indirectly.
Sharing his thoughts about the movie, director Gopichand Malineni stated that Dada is not just another gangster drama set in the 80s backdrop. He stated that the film will have huge family emotion like how Balakrishna’s Legend and Simha have. Earlier, reports have come out that Manchu Manoj is playing the role of Balakrishna’s brother in the movie, and the clash between the brothers is the real part of the film. Well, that means both Dada and #OG will be miles apart.
On the other hand, Malineni also confirmed that the scenes involving Balakrishna and Kajal Aggarwal are coming out quite well, and that the romantic track will be talked about. After Balakrishna’s injury, the film got slowed down a bit, but now currently on the track for a December 24th release along with Nagarjuna’s King and other movies.
