Cinema Is Not Solely For Entertainment: Varun Tej

Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to impress the audience with his slick action flick titled 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna'. The movie is releasing on 25th August and the trailer raised the expectations on the movie a lot. The team has started giving interviews too and he had some very interesting things to say about this movie.

Talking about his character, Varun said, "I play bodyguard role in the film, and I help Nasser get what he was fighting for. I've been involved in fights, chases, and a lot of action for him."

He added, "I believe that cinema is not solely for entertainment. As an actor, I believe it is my responsibility to raise awareness about these topics through my films. I knew I wanted to make this film after hearing Praveen Sattaru garu read the script."

About his director, Varun said, "Praveen Sattaru garu is a visionary director with a flawless plan. He worked the longest on pre-production to reduce shoot days, and we shot for 55-60 days. We did workshops and action rehearsals far in advance of the shoot."

This is the first time Varun Tej and Praveen Sattaru have joined hands. Billed to be an action thriller, the film is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor of this movie which has a Hollywood feel to it. Mickey J Meyer gave the music while Sakshi Vaidya is the heroine.
