Jacqueline Talks About The Bad Advice She Got Early Days!

Bollywood's stalwart Jacqueline Fernandez has the power to make you awestruck with her magnificent beauty. The Sri Lankan girl has made her fans skip a heartbeat many times before whether it is through movies or special songs or photoshoots. The glamorous girl doesn't have any qualms about slipping into skimpy and revealing outfits that tease the viewers. But offers are starting to dry up for the actress lately.

Known for her poor acting skills, Jacqueline has been in the industry for more than 15 years and during her interview with Brut at Cannes Film Festival, she talked about the bad advice she received. She said, “He was like, 'Listen, just focus on looking good. And you'll be fine.' And I actually think that was one of the worst pieces of advice I ever got being someone who was trying to make it in the film industry.”

Apparently, an actor asked her to change her age in the passport as she was about to turn 30. She said, “So that was really disappointing to hear, but women are getting films at every age in their careers right now. And I think that's an amazing thing.”

She added, “I think a lot of people pile in mainly about your physical appearance. Like I was told many times to get a nose job. And it was crazy because I really came here loving my nose and not really ever thinking about doing anything ever to it. And so quite a few people earlier on actually told me that it should be you know 'you should consider getting that done.’ And it’s mainly physical, and that’s the sad thing.”

She went on to say, “I absolutely had no background in acting or in films, I had really no idea how to kind of maneuver my way or navigate my way around things, around the industry, around the people. So I think that was something I really struggled with.”
