Koratala Siva's Hero Hunt: Who’s Next for His Big Project?
In the meantime, Koratala Siva doesn’t want to sit idle. He's considering working on another film while waiting for NTR’s dates.
Like a sailor stranded between voyages, Koratala Siva finds himself waiting for the perfect opportunity to set sail again. With Devara 1 complete and Devara 2 still in the planning stages, the acclaimed director is eager to keep his creative journey moving forward. The team behind Devara 2 has promised an even bigger story, packed with more emotion and action than the first part. However, while the script is nearly ready, no scenes have been filmed yet. Jr NTR, the star of the series, is occupied with other projects, including Prashant Neel's upcoming film and War 2. Only after these films will NTR be available for Devara 2.
In the meantime, Koratala Siva doesn’t want to sit idle. He's considering working on another film while waiting for NTR’s dates. The problem isn’t a lack of stories—Koratala has plenty of scripts ready to go. The challenge is finding the right hero. All of the top stars like Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and Allu Arjun are tied up with their own projects. After his last film Acharya, doing another project with Ram Charan isn’t an option either. Koratala's career has been built on working with top-tier heroes, so making a film with a lesser-known actor could send the wrong message.
Koratala knows he needs to make careful decisions. With NTR occupied for a while, waiting too long could hurt his momentum. He’s determined to make a film in the meantime, but it has to live up to his reputation. There's even talk of him acting as a producer for another project, handing over one of his stories to another director. However, Koratala ultimately feels that his next project needs to be one that he directs himself, keeping his status as a top-tier filmmaker intact.
Until NTR returns for Devara 2, Koratala Siva remains in a delicate situation. He's ready to move forward, but only with the right setup that ensures his career continues to thrive.
