While the fight for theatres and aggressive promotions are already going on, the situation in Tollywood has become quite strange right now as people are worried about pre-release events too. As we know, the pre-release event of 'Guntur Karam' was supposed to happen on 6th January and the government official denied permission due to various reasons.

Now, the makers are planning to organize the event on 7th Jan and the pre-release event of 'Hanu-Man' is taking place on the same. They wanted to avoid clashing with 'Guntur Karam' and it is why they opted to have the event a day after Mahesh Babu's event. But the police department denying permission has led to both these films having pre-release events on the same day. The event of 'Hanu-Man' will have Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest.

On the same day, Venkatesh is organizing a function for his upcoming film 'Saindhav'. But it is in Vishakapatnam. The problem arises when all these events are getting telecasted or streamed on YouTube. With 'Guntur Karam' being the biggest film of the lot, it draws a lot of attention and many channels prioritize Mahesh Babu's event compared to others. But 'Guntur Karam' may not have a lot of options because the other films have already made agreements with certain channels.

Going till 8th January will be too late according to many. The change of timings may help to a certain extent but it is definitely a mess that the filmmakers ended up in without even trying. Also, top anchor Suma Kanakala is needed for all the big events. But the postponement of 'Guntur Karam' pre-release event will force her to miss Mahesh's function which happens the next day as she is already hosting 'Hanu-Man' event which has Megastar as the guest.
