Bollywood has always helped Tollywood movies reach bigger audiences. Take Baahubali, for example. It made roughly ₹330–350 crore from the Telugu market and over ₹1,000 crore from North India, Hindi, and overseas. Now, Pushpa 2 did something similar. Mythri Movies revealed it earned around ₹320 crore from the South, but the surprising chunk, over ₹900 crore, came from Hindi, North India, and overseas. And Bihar? That state played a bigger role than anyone expected.

Producer Y. Ravi Shankar said a big event in Bihar created huge excitement. The idea and campaign came from the Chai Bisket team, handling the creative side and social media. Ravi Shankar didn’t hold back praising them, saying Chai Shots could easily become a brand worth thousands of crores someday.

Ravi explained that after arranging meetings with big companies for Pushpa 2 promotions, the Bihar event idea from Sharath and Anurag went live, and wow, the hype in the Hindi market just exploded. “That’s why we got an extra ₹500 crore net from the Hindi box office,” he said.

He added that Mythri and Chai Bisket started together, and their team was instructed to take care of things even if the main team wasn’t around. Ravi seems keen to work with Chai Shots again. His words are now buzzing in film circles, showing that sometimes smart marketing makes just as much difference as the movie itself.
