When we watched Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal', we clearly understood why the censor board wanted to give an 'A' certificate. It was a bloodbath during the action episodes and there were some bold dialogues along with a few scenes that might not go down well with everyone and may impact children. But people wondered why 'A' certificate was given to Prabhas' recent blockbuster 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire'.

During the interview, Prasanth Neel said that he was not happy with the movie getting an 'A' certificate. He even stated before the release that there were no vulgar scenes, cuss words or obscenity in the movie. It turned out to be true as there were no such things in the three-hour-long movie. It was only because of the violence in action sequences for that the movie got an 'A' certificate.

But such brutal action scenes were seen in many movies that were given a 'U/A' certificate. There was one head-chopping scene in the film but it was there in both parts of Prabhas' magnum opus 'Baahubali' as well. The other fights had violence too but blood is not something new to Tollywood movies as all of Rajamouli and Vinayak's films had a lot of bloodshed before. Even Boyapati's films were given 'U/A' and they are filled with brutal fights.

So, one fails to understand how the barometers of censor certification keeps changing from film to film.
