Tollywood actress Shivani Nagaram has recently come into the spotlight due to a controversy related to her Tirumala Srivari darshan comments. Shivani, who won the hearts of young audiences with her role as Katyayani in the hit film Little Hearts, found herself facing criticism after an interview clip went viral on social media.

Shivani began her acting journey with the film Anjaaji Peta Marriage Band. Though it was her debut, the movie gave her good recognition. Later, Little Hearts became a super hit, and her performance was widely appreciated. Recently, she also appeared in the movie Hey Balavant, which helped her stay connected with audiences. However, her personal comments during an interview unexpectedly created controversy.

In an interview with a YouTube channel, Shivani spoke about her childhood, film career, spirituality, and her visits to famous temples like Kedarnath, Shirdi, and Tirumala. During the conversation, she mentioned that she had Tirumala Srivari darshan for about 15 minutes. This particular statement attracted heavy criticism from devotees, who questioned how such extended darshan was possible when common devotees often get only a few seconds.

As the issue grew bigger, Shivani decided to clear the confusion by releasing another video. In this video, she explained her words clearly and addressed the misunderstanding.

She said, "A few days ago, I gave an interview to a YouTube channel where I spoke about my childhood journey, film career, and also about devotion and spirituality. I mentioned Kedarnath, Ramakoti writing, Shirdi, and Tirumala Tirupati temples. But only one line was highlighted—that I had Tirumala darshan for 15 minutes. That is why I am making this video to give clarity."

Shivani further added, "In October 2025, my mother and I stood in the queue and bought Srivani darshan tickets by paying Rs 10,500. From the time you enter the queue until you reach close to the Lord, you can see Swami step by step. I roughly estimated that experience as 15 minutes. I never said that no one touched me for 15 minutes."

She also explained that she often visits Tirumala with a Rs 300 ticket and usually gets darshan for only five seconds. This time, after 13 years, she felt emotional seeing the Lord from such a close distance and shared that happiness openly.
