The Telugu film industry is finally seeing some positive signs after many difficult months. Every year, the box office has busy and slow seasons. During the Sankranthi festival, many big films are released, and theatres remain crowded with movie lovers. However, after the festival, the number of successful releases usually drops. From February onwards, many theatres struggle because very few films attract audiences.

This year, the situation has changed during June and July. Several new releases have brought people back to theatres and helped the cinema business recover. Theatre owners and exhibitors, who were facing financial problems for months, are now feeling more hopeful.

One of the biggest reasons for this improvement is Peddi. The film attracted large crowds and kept theatres busy for more than three weeks. It gave a much-needed boost to the box office.

Apart from that, Blast performed well in some regions. Singeetham and Deewana also received a decent response in selected areas, even though they were not massive hits across all locations.

Another major success is Maa Inti Bangaram, starring Samantha. The film has enjoyed a strong run in theatres and has become one of the biggest profitable films of the year. It has delivered excellent returns compared to its production cost, making everyone in the trade happy.

Meanwhile, Nagabandham received mixed reviews, but it still managed to bring good crowds during its opening weekend. Rao Bahadur is performing well, especially in Hyderabad multiplexes. Obsession has also attracted a good number of moviegoers in multiplex theatres.

Overall, the recent flow of releases has given theatres much-needed support. Even if every film is not a blockbuster, regular audience footfall is helping the industry recover. Now, everyone is hoping that the upcoming release Lenin will also perform well. If it succeeds, theatres could continue enjoying this positive momentum for a few more weeks.
