Did Varun Tej Target Allu Arjun? Was It Needed?
Social media is a hostile place where the dots are often connected at convenience and narratives are spread like wildfire.
Social media is a hostile place where the dots are often connected at convenience and narratives are spread like wildfire. In this day and age, every statement from a celebrity must be carefully scrutinized before publicizing.
Coming to the topic now, while speaking at the Matka pre-release event last night, Varun Tej made a very interesting statement while speaking about success.
"There is no credence of value to success if a person doesn't value his roots and forgets where he comes from. I myself am a byproduct of my father Nagababu and I had the backing of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan Babai. I always cherish the support I had from behind and I am grateful for it" Varun Tej said.
Shortly after Varun made this statement, an intense battle started off on social media. A section of netizens opined that Varun's comments are indirectly aimed at Allu Arjun. Their argument is that Allu Arjun has distanced himself from the Mega family and even went to campaign for the YCP candidate while JSP was contesting the AP election.
The narrative is being spread in such a way that Allu Arjun has forgotten his mega-family roots after tasting success. They are implicating Varun Tej's comments to a direct satire on Allu Arjun and making a meal of it, despite the fact that Varun didn't name anyone in the statement that he made earlier.
While there is no obvious bad blood between Varun and Allu Arjun, a social media narrative is being spun around this by vicious hatemongers, which is to be avoided.
