Vivek Repeats The Same But Gets A Different Outcome This Time!
The result of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' is out and Nani has definitely scored a hattrick.
The result of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' is out and Nani has definitely scored a hattrick. Keeping the collections aside, it is Nani's trust in Vivek Athreya that paid off. When the project was announced, many people including the fans were stunned to see Nani giving another chance to Vivek Athreya who delivered a commercial failure like 'Ante Sundaraniki' with Nani. But Nani had immense belief in Vivek and okayed an action script. He was even ready to give equal screen time to a villain who dominated him in the movie.
As a result, Nani won big time. There are still a lot of discussions that go around regarding 'Ante Sundaraniki'. Many say that it did not get the result it deserved and they claim that the verdict would have been different if the runtime had decreased. But the screenplay of the film doesn't allow that. Nonetheless, 3 hours for a romantic comedy is a bit much according to many.
With Vivek and Nani making an action drama this time, many expected 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' to be a crisp film but Vivek made a 2 hour and 54 minutes long film. But the length did not appear to be a problem this time. Despite having length issues, the movie did not bore the audience this time. The damage done to 'Ante Sundaraniki' did not repeat for 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram'.
Vivek Athreya is the happiest person right now as he has given trust to the producers that he can handle commercial scripts too. He narrated a regular action drama with his own screenplay magic. The movie is winning appreciation from all over and it is even doing good business in Tamil Nadu too. With no competition, the movie is going to do great business for sure.
