Recently leaders of both parties met in Hyderabad reportedly and held talks in this regard. While Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Bonda Uma, and Janardhan came from TDP, Nadendla Manohar attended the meeting from Janasena, as per the reports.'
During the meeting, Janasena placed its proposals in front of the TDP leaders reportedly. Janasena reportedly proposed that it should get 40 to 50 Assembly seats, the CM post should be shared for at least two years and 5 or more MP seats should be given as part of the alliance.
'Moreover, the seats should be given in the areas the Janasena is strong. As the Godavari districts are seen as a storing zone of Janasena, the party wants seats there. There are 34 seats in the Godavari districts and Janasena reportedly wants around 20 seats.
The party also wants 10 to 12 seats in North Andhra districts. Janasena wants eight more seats in Krishna and Guntur districts. Janasena reportedly wants 10 seats in Great Rayalaseema in Kurnool, Chittoor, and Prakasham districts.
This is regarded as the first meeting of Janasena and TDP. The meetings are likely to happen in a few phases. The meeting allowed the TDP to know Janasena's opinion. TDP might not agree to the demand of Janasena to have 50 seats and a CM post.
TDP might also not agree to give seats for Janasena in the areas it wanted. 50 seats is not a small thing.TDP reportedly wants to allot just 25 seats to the alliance parties and it wants to contest 150 seats so that it can reach the magic figure of 88 seats. So the party can come to power without any issues.
On the other hand, TDP reportedly doesn't have any intention of walking with another party in the process to defeat the YCP. TDP wants to walk with Janasena to use it as a small support and come to power. Janasena thinks that TDP lost 40 to 50 seats in the last elections because of it and it wants the same seats.
CM post-sharing is seen as a good proposal. Janasena feels that leaving the CM post for TDP for three years and taking the post for two years is also appropriate.
