Aam Admi Party MLA Somnath Bharti's Wife Lipika alleges her husband has tried every ptrick possible to make withdraw the domestic violence complaint filed against him. "The last 3 months have been nightmare for me. Somnath Bharti sent me 500 SMSes. He is such a strange person that he abuses and says he loves me the very next minute. While the first SMS is some sort of a blackmail, Second One is abusive and the Third One is 'I Love You'," she reveals.
Lipika accuses Somnath Bharti of threatening her in the presence of Delhi's DCP, ACP and other Senior Police Officials. She also says Mr. Somnath has tried to scared her by saying nasty questions will be asked in courts and she would be humiliated if the case wasn't withdrawn. The House Wife claims she have all the documentary proofs to prove Somnath Bharti guilty of domestic violence.
Delhi High Court on Tuesday rejected Somnath Bharti's anticipatory bail petition. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal says the AAP MLA is an embarrassment to his party and he has to surrender.
