In the past 24 hours, a total of 69,429 samples were tested and 7,073 fresh infections were detected. So far, a total of 6,61,458 patients have been infected with the virus in the state.
The information provided by the media bulletin stated that a record 54,47,796 samples have been tested in the state to detect the virus.
With as many as 8,695 patients beating the novel Coronavirus in the past 24 hours, the total recoveries in the state mounted to 5,88,169. There are 67,683 active Corona cases in AP.
Covid-19 related fatalities that have been decreasing in the state gradually fell down further as 48 people breathed their last battling the virus in a single day. Total casualties stood at 5,606
East Godavari(92173), West Godavari(62582), Chittor(58268) are the worst-affected regions in the state with the virus outbreak. These regions account for 60 percent of the state's caseload.
