The government employees in Andhra Pradesh are fighting for their long pending demands. As the previous protests did not give the required outcome, the employees' unions began their second phase of demands. As the protests started today, the employees wore black badges as a bid for protest.
AP JAC Amaravti Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu spoke to the media and listed their problems. He said that the benefits they have right on were not paid since 2018 and the government is not looking into these issues and kept aside their demands. He asked why the government is not addressing the demands.
Drawing a comparison between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, he asked why the Andhrab Pradesh government is not paying salaries and benefits on time when Telkanagan is paying the same on time.
Boppiraju also took a dig at the Andhra Pradesh government on its version that the state is in a better position financially and asked why salaries are not coming regularly when the position is good.
The Employees' leader went on to say that the Ministers are not in the mood to give a proper response and are humiliating them with their answers. He said that the Ministers are giving contrasting answers to their demands causing big confusion.
The Employees leader added that the government did not pay an extra amount in the last four years and not even a single demand was addressed. He urged the teachers, government employees, volunteers, and everyone to be a part of the protest.'
