A IIT Madras Student went missing from her Hostel on Tuesday. Upon finding a note in her room, It came to light that she is actually heading to the Himalayas for attaining Sainthood.
Vedantam L Prathyusha is a native of Brodipet in Guntur district, AP. She is currently in her second year of MS in the department of Engineering Design.
During the police enquiry, It came to their notice that Prathyusha wasn't seen after Sunday morning and Students have reported this matter to the Warden. 2-page letter in English and 3-page letter in Telugu were found in her hostel room.
Prathyusha didn't inform either her friends or family about her plan. IIT Madras has filed a Police Complaint based the request placed by the missing student's family. Kotturpuram Police were investigating the case.
