The Andhra Pradesh government and the state employees are at loggerheads yet again. This time the employee unions are demanding the government to pay the salaries and other dues every time on time. Recently they met the Governor seeking his intervention in this regard.

They are listing out their demands like clearance of GPF and DA. Expressing their dissatisfaction over the delay in salary payments they are asking why the salaries are being delayed every month and they had to fight for it.

Andhra Pradesh JAC Amaravati Chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu spoke to the media on this and gave an ultimatum that if the employees' demands are not addressed after the 5th of February then they will have to sit for a protest. He said that what they are demanding is their right and they are not asking for more.

He said that the employees are unable to get salaries on time and even for the festivals they are facing the same. Drawing a comparison with the previous government, the JAC leader said the earlier government used to give salaries in advance for the festivals and now we are getting salaries only after the 15th or 20th.

He went on to say that the employees trusted YSRCP that the party would scrap the CPS and voted for the party but in reality, the government is not even interested in doing so. Forget about scraping CPS, we are not even getting salaries on time, he said.

Earlier the government employees went for a protest titled Chalo Vijyaswada which was a big success. The protest became a huge success that it caught the attention of the national media as well.
