Update: 2023-04-06 17:32 GMT
There is no full stop for the problems of the Andhra Pradesh employees. Every month they have to fight for salaries and other benefits. The situation is such that the government has to borrow money every month for these expenses. The Employees' unions held a series of meetings with a few Ministers. But it did not give a positive outcome.

Yet again, the employees are gearing up for intense protests. With no other option left, the employees announced the next phase of protest starting this week. AP JAC Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu and others held a press meet to talk about this.

AP JAC Amaravati listed out all the issues faced by the employees. The body said that employees are not getting their salaries on time and for the expenses, they are taking loans and unable to pay them back as no one knows when the salaries will be credited.

The employees asked why the government is not paying salaries on time and they have to fight every month for the demands. Giving the details, they said that the leaders are saying 90,000 crores are being spent on salaries and benefits of employees but some portion of the funds are spent for volunteers and others.

Talking about the hikes, they asked how long they have to wait for the recommendations of the 11th PRC. Giving a reality check into their situation, the employees said that they are in a state where they are fighting for their salaries. The hike is a faraway thing and we are hoping that salaries would be given on time.

The protests announced by the employees would start from the eighth of this month. The protest will go on till the 29th of April. They are hopeful that the government will listen to them and address the issues.
