AP records more GDP Growth Rate Than India

Bifurcated Andhra Pradesh have showed rapid development in all areas since last one year and the state's GDP growth rate has now surpassed the entire country's growth rate in GDP.As per the reports AP recorded a GDP growth rate of 9.72% . This is highest than overall country's GDP growth rate of 7.1% in the first quarter of financial year.

The growth in the state of Andhra Pradesh was mainly driven by agriculture, industry and service sectors. The priority areas of the state in the economy include Food processing, Software Export, Financial Services, Electronics, power, Textiles and Tourism.

The results for the first financial quarter are as follows. Agriculture (12.52%), Industries (7.19%), Services (10.15%),  Animal Husbandry (11.29%) and Fisheries (11.24%).

During the state bifurcation AP was lagged behind Telangana and many other states. This achievement is totally  attributed to CM Chandrababu's relentless efforts in developing the state; opined TDP leaders.
