A tense situation arose in Assam, with around a hundred patients escaping from the pandemic care center and blocking the National Highway 31  to demand the authorities to fulfill their demands.

It has been reported that the patients in the pandemic Care Centre which is located at the Kamrup district of Assam were not provided with adequate food and water which forced the patients to hit the National Highway.

Soon after getting informed about the shocking news, Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Kailash Kartik and his sleuths reached the spot and urged the patients to return to the Care Centre without making much fuss.

The patients listed out the problems they are facing at the Care center and alleged that they are not receiving the proper care and food and water are also not provided to them.

According to the patients, 10-12 of them were kept in a single room which they are not comfortable with and requested the Deputy Commissioner to look into this, and allegedly they are also facing issues with the beds provided there.
