33-Years-Long Murder Mystery yet to be resolved

A Court has issued a warrant direction Cops to produce the accused in the 33-Years long murder case. This case has entered record books as the longest trial ever in Kerala. Many films have been released already based on this Murder Mystery.

In 1984, Sukumara Kurup who is from Kerala used to work in Abu Dhabi. This 38-Year-Old has a life insurance cover of Rs 8 lakh. Getting inspired from an incident in Germany, Sukumara has created a proofs about his death to claim the insurance amount. His Brother Bhaskar Pillai & Driver Ponnappan joined hands with him. Initially, They have gone in search of dead body who looks like Sukumara. As they were unable to find it, The trio decided to find a lookalike of Sukumara and kill him to implement their previous plan.

Finally, They came across a person named Chako who's physical attributes are similar to Sukumara Kurup. On the pretext of offering lift, The Trio offered drink mixed with sedatives and  Bhaskar Pillai later killed him. They made the face of Chako completely unrecognizable. On January 22nd in the year 1984, The car in which Chako's body was placed has been set ablaze. Initially, Cops suspected Sukumara might have died. They, however, found out during the investigation that it's not him. The actual truth came out after Chako's Wife lodged a missing complaint. Since then, Sukumara Kurup has been absconding and Cops weren't able to trace him since the past 33 years. Court has issued arrest warrants against him plenty of times but he wasn't arrested till date.
