Former Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, who hails from the royal Pusapati family, had knocked on the doors of the Andhra Pradesh High Court alleged that he was not treated in an appropriate manner. A day after the Police filed a case against him, he had approached the High Court.
In his petition, Ashok Gajapathi Raju sought a directive from the High Court to cancel the First information report (FIR) that was filed against him as he had done nothing wrong. The Andhra Pradesh High Court is expected to hear the petition on Monday.
Raju garu said that false cases were filed against him and objectionable events and things happened at the temple that had never happened in the 400 year-long history of the temple. He also questioned why the Andhra Pradesh Ministers are talking about his family and his culture. I am leaving the topic to their wisdom, he said.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that the A.P Endowments Department officers are not cooperating with him and they are not telling any details of the temple.
