Boy from Bangalore becomes Oracle President

South Indians showing their presence in World’s software industry. Its known that Telugu guy Satya Nadella became CEO of the technology giant Microsoft.Now another south Indian occupied top place in leading software firm.
 
Oracle Corporation promoted Thomas Kurian as president of software product development  and he is responsible for overseeing all of Oracle’s software products.
 
Kurian joined Oracle in 1996, and before that worked at McKinsey & Co according to the company  website.Kurian name was reportedly referred by Larry Ellison who recently appointed as  company's chairman.Kurian has long been seen as an Ellison favorite
 
Thomas Kurian hails from Kerala. Kurian did his schooling in St Josephs Boys School in Banglore. He came to the United States in 1986 to study at Princeton.He has an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business
