Babu's U-Turn On High Court Division

Update: 2018-02-14 12:30 GMT
High Court dispute between AP and Telangana seems to have ended with the assurance given to Centre by CM Chandrababu Naidu that temporary HC will be established in the available structure in Amaravati by June this year. Much to everyone's surprise, TDP Supremo announced on Monday that temporary High Court will be constructed within 8 months. This is contrast to letter sent to HC Chief Justice who informed all facilities will be provided within 4 months after identifying the suitable building.

Post Naidu's letter to Chief Justice, 5-Member High Court Judges Committee toured AP Capital for two days to identify the structure. However, AP CM took a U-Turn even before the Panel submitted its report.

Telangana Judges and Lawyers are questioning how could AP Government complete the structure within 8 months without even laying foundation stone so far. They suspect this could be a conspiracy to delay the division of Joint High Court. They have been treating it as misleading the Judiciary. Will Chandrababu Naidu disapprove if the Committee finalizes any of the buildings in Amaravati?
