During the Collectors Meeting, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu commented that he would approach Supreme Court if Centre fails to implement the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 and other promises such as Special Package.
In Today's meeting with TDP Politburo Members, Chandrababu clarified his comments weren't aimed at BJP or Narendra Modi. He tried to downplay them by saying there is nothing wrong about Government moving Supreme Court in the best interest of state. 'I was talking about Schedule 9 and 10 of the AP Reorganisation Act 2014. If disputes remain unresolved, Approaching court is the only option but that doesn't mean we are against Centre or BJP,' he said.
TDP Supremo informed PM Narendra Modi responded positively to the issues raised by him during the recent meeting. 'Modi listened to issues raised by me seriously. Compared to the earlier meetings, He reacted very positively and assured appropriate action,' told Naidu.
Chandrababu Naidu had information that his comments hasn't gone down well with BJP Leaders. Hence, He issued a clarification to appease them.
