TDP-BJP were at loggerheads with each other over the seat sharing in the upcoming Kakinada Corporation Elections. Candidates of both the parties have filed nominations for all the wards, giving an impression that this will lead to end of ties between them.
However, Leaderships of TDP and BJP reached an agreement at last to contest Kakinada Corporation Polls jointly. Initially, The Saffron Party demanded allotment of 15 wards but finally agreed to take 9 wards.
Out of total 39 wards, TDP and BJP will contest in 30 and 9 wards respectively. 493 Candidates have filed nominations so far. All the major parties might have to face the opposition from rebels who were denied B Forms.
AP Deputy CM Chinna Rajappa is confident that TDP-BJP will claim Kakinada Corporation with a clean sweep.
