An Anthrax case has been detected in Anantapur district on Friday. Anthrax is a bacterial disease which his highly contagious transmitted to humans by animals.
A Class X Boy in Chintapalli has been diagnosed with Anthrax disease. At first, He was admitted in a Bangalore hospital but the doctors refused to provide treatment as the disease is highly contagious. So, He was brought to Hindupur Government Hospital and his condition was stable at the moment.
Reportedly, The Boy's classmates and their family members are kept under surveillance as Anthrax is highly contagious disease.
This is second of its kind incident from the AP-Karnataka border. Officials in Anantapur are now taking measures to prevent spreading of Anthrax.
