CM KCR Tables New Revenue Bill In The House

Days after scrapping the Village Revenue Officers (VROs) system, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao aka KCR introduced a new revenue bill in Telangana Assembly.

CM KCR said the main motto of proposing the bill is to counter the corruption and offer transparent and corruption-free services for the public in the state regarding registration works.

He maintained that with the new Revenue corruption can be eradicated in the registration process and all the steps will be taken to see that the transactions are carried out with utmost transparency.

The government is gearing up to do away with the Revenue Courts in the state and Land Tribunals will be replacing the Revenue Courts. These tribunals will be set up in every district.

Speaking in the house, CM KCR said,  the bill is put forth with an aim to benefit the public in the state and assured that the Revenue Department employees will be provided with jobs.

He went on to say that, all the required information will be uploaded to the Dharani portal. Information on both agricultural and non-agricultural lands will be provided in the portal.
