Negative Wave witnessed since the recent Gujarat Assembly Polls sent shivers down the spine of the BJP Leaders. They faced another major setback even before defeat in Rajasthan by-polls (lost two Lok Sabha seats and one Assembly seat) was forgotten.
In BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, Congress won by-elections in Mungaoli and Kolaras Assembly Seats. While Opposition Candidate Brajendra Singh Yadav received, Ruling Party Candidate Baisahab Yadav managed to get 68,684 votes. In Kolaras by-poll, Congress candidate Mahendra Singh Yadav won against BJP candidate Devendra Jain by a margin of 8,083 votes.
By-Poll was necessitated due to the demise of Congress Legislators Mahendra Singh Kalukheda (Mungaoli) and Ram Singh Yadav (Kolaras).
BJP received a rude shock in Odisha as well. BJD's Rita Sahu won against BJP candidate by a massive margin of 41,933 votes in Bijepur Constituency. The vote share of BJD is about 57 percent in the by-election with 81 percent polling percentage.
Results of recent by-elections hurt the morale of BJP Leaders and Workers across the country. A strong warning for Modi-led NDA Government!
