Acclaimed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming flick 'Indu Sarkar' is based on the Emergency imposed when Indira Gandhi was prime minister during the 70s. First Look Poster of the movie gave an impression that Kirti Kulhari and Neil Nitin Mukesh are portraying the roles of Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay Gandhi respectively.
Congress opined 'Indu Sarkar' is fully sponsored by few individuals to tarnish the image of Gandhi Family with false depictions. The National Party told it is well aware of the organization and person who is behind the movie.
Whereas, Madhur Bhandarkar made it clear that it's important for Today's generation need to know what happened during Emergency. The Filmmaker just hopes Censor Board doesn't create any hurdles for the release.
'Indu Sarkar' is all about key events which took place in a span of 21 months from 1975 to 1977.
