Congress Man Chants Priyanka Chopra ki Jai

Actress Priyanka Chopra trended on the social media on Sunday evening for reasons not related to her film or personal career. She was all over the Internet after a Congress leader mistakenly chanted Priyanka Chopra Zindabad instead of Priyanka Vadra at a public rally. At a public rally in Punjab, he shouted lustily Priyanka Chopra Zindabad and asked the people to chant with him the same. However, he was soon corrected by another Congress leader.

The incident occurred in a public meeting held in Delhi on Sunday. Delhi Congress leader and former MLA Surinder Kumar shouted slogans "Sonia Gandhi Zindabad" and "Rahul Gandhi Zindabad" and then chanted "Priyanka Chopra Zindabad."  Delhi Congress chief Subhash Chopra, who was present on the dais, immediately stopped and corrected him. This left everyone confused for some time. And Surender Kumar is no ordinary party worker. He is a three-time MLA and is close to the Gandhi family. This was enough for the social media to erupt into a commenting spree.

"Since when has Priyanka Chopra joined the Congress?"  asked a Twitterati. Another commented: "Thank God!! Rahul G either didn't attend or skipped that rally or was not invited for that rally. Surely, they would have shouted #RahulBajaj zindabad."  Another said: "Priyanka Chopra Zindabad... Chota Bheem Amar Rahe." In another tweet, a netizen said" Congress Ex MLA Surendra Kumar shouting slogans of 'Priyanka Chopda Zindabad' after Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.  Seems Only tabboo in Congress is sloganeering 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' Or 'Vande Mataram'
