Conspiracy behind metro rail reports

The Telangana government has denied that infrastructure Major Larsen & Toubro is pulling out of Hyderabad Metro rail project. Metro Officials said the project is on track and that L&T has not threatened to pull out.

Earlier in the day some reports said that L&T was moving out of project citing issue with TRS government. According to reports L&T wrote a letter to the government that it is incurring a daily loss of Rs.2 crore as the work has been stopped on two corridors.
Vivek B Gadgil, the CMO of L& T Company wrote a letter to Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) managing director MD NBS Reddy stating that they want to discontinue the project and suggested state government to handover the project.

In the wake of the reports Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) managing director N.V.S. Reddy Wednesday met Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma.
After meeting with KCR and CS Hyderabad metrorail officials have clarified that there are no obstacles for Hyderabad metro rail project and asked the public not to worry about the  rumours coming on the project.Other side Telangana IT minister KTR suspects conspiracy behind Metro Rail reports.

The minister revealed that government did not know about any letter written by L&T regarding pulling out of the project and he alleged that it is the conspiracy of the media to belittle TRS’ magnificent win in Medak.He described the media reporting of the Metro Rail Project as the conspiracy of few individuals and media houses to peg back the growth of Telangana state and Hyderabad city since its formation

However, it is to be noted that none from L&T Company has condemned the media reports and asserted that the project works are going smoothly.
