An unfortunate incident took place in Medak district of Telangana. Two shepherds who took their cattle for grazing were killed in a crocodile attack at the Majeera dam area in Pulkal mandal of Medak district
The incident occurred when the deceased Siva Kumar had stepped into the water to wash his feet.One of the crocodile suddenly attacked him and dragged him into water in no time.
After observing this second person identified as Ramaswamy get into water to save his friend Siva Kumar from the crocodile's grip and he was also pulled into the water by the reptiles while he was trying to rescue him.
The victim's bodies were yet to be recovered by local swimmers. The crocodiles in the area had attacked other animals a few times but this is the first time men were attacked by the predators in the area.
