First phase of Bihar elections are just five days away. Meanwhile the first of the major pre-election voter surveys is out. The survey is conducted by Lokniti-CSDS. The survey says BJP-led NDA seems to have an advantage over the Maha Gathbandhan or the Grand Alliance led by Nitish Kumar. The Survey says NDA would get 42 per cent votes and the Grand Alliance will ended up with 38 per cent.
Till now many pre-poll surveys have also said that it will be a neck-to-neck contest in caste-conscious Bihar. But the latest revelation predicts clear edge for NDA. Earlier, both the BJP and the Lalu-Nitish combine appeared neck and neck with both parties projected to win 105 and 101 seats respectively.
The Third Front led by Samajwadi Party and Pappu Yadav do not seem to be making any impact.
