Political equations have been hanging fast following the presentation of Union Budget 2018. YSR Congress managed to gain majority of the people's acceptance with the spirited fight led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy for Special Category Status & promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014. Even the MLAs in Ruling Party began feeling insecure about their winning chances in next elections because of the wait & see approach.
At this situation, YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy announced some of the MLAs who defected to TDP in the past three-and-a-half years are willing to return to the Main Opposition. He also informed few TDP MLAs are also gearing up to shift loyalties to YCP.
Vijay Sai Reddy, however, made it clear Jagan remains firm on the stand that any lawmaker who wishes to join YCP should first resign to their post. He told Yuva Neta is maintaining certain values and ethics unlike TDP Supremo.
Defector MLAs feel they were neither getting due recognition nor additional benefits as promised by TDP Government. Kodumuru MLA Mani Gandhi has openly admitted that he ruined his career by joining the ruling party. He alleged TDP Leadership of not abiding by the promise made to him. Even Badwel MLA Jayaramulu is of the same feeling and chances of his return to YCP can't be ruled out.
