Driver Shyamvar Rai, the former Driver of prime accused Indrani Mukerjea, turned approver in the Sheena Bora murder case.
Earlier, Shyamvar Rai filed an application in Court seeking permission for turning into an approver and sought pardon. As CBI declared it doesn't have any objection to the appeal made by Mr.Rai, The Special CBI Court on Monday pardoned him.
In August 2015, Shyamvar Rai was arrested by Cops for involvement in an Arms case. That's when he disclosed about the murder conspiracy of Sheena Bora executed by Indrani Mukerjea who is the wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukerjea. Based on the information, Indrani and her second husband Sanjeev Khanna were arrested. After few weeks, Even Peter Mukerjea was sent behind the bars for alleged involvement in the crime. Since then, the trio were lodged in jail and denied bail.
