Telangana Chief Minister KCRâs daughter Kavitha is one of the accused in the case and this increased the political heat. The BRS strategically reacted to the issue slowly. First Kavitha held a press meet at the national capital Delhi and lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party. Giving examples of BRS leaders who faced raids and searches from the agencies, Kavitha said that the agencies are after the BRS leaders.
During the investigation, the ED said in its report that Kavitha used many phones and some of them were destroyed. Kavitha responded to the allegations and showed a few Mobile Phones. Before entering the ED office, she flashed the mobile phones. With this, many wanted to know what is inside the phones and what key evidence they possess.
Now the Enforcement Directorate would end the suspense of this. The investigating officers have written to Kavitha saying that the phones would be opened. In the letter, the ED officers said that either she or her representative should be present at the office. Kavitha Advocate Soma Bharat might visit the party.
While the ED said that Kavitha used a few phones and destroyed them, the BRS MLC addressed the allegations during an interview and said that she has a few phones and she gives them to her house helps and others to stay in touch with them.
So all eyes are on the ED to know what information the mobile phones consist of and what relevance the info hold in the case and the investigation involving BRS MLC Kavitha.
