Excise Commissioner Chandravadhan reacted seriously on this issue. 'It's unfair to say Film Industry has been targeted. We have been investigating from all angles. Drug Scandal is a serious issue...don't make it appear funny. We have been investigating as per Law & Supreme Court directions. It's not right to project the investigation by Excise Department differently. We neither show any partiality or discrimination. Bigwigs in Film Industry need to behave in a responsible manner,' he responded without mentioning Varma's Name.
Mr.Chandravadhan informed Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered not to spare anybody who is involved in drug scandal. He told Akun Sabharwal is handling the case with utmost care and culprits will be punished.
