The Valencia defender Ezequiel Garay happens to be the first-ever Laliga player to test positive for the novel coronavirus who has been kept in an isolation ward to stop the spread of the virus.
Garay who is now in quarantine has taken to Instagram to share that he was tested positive and posted a post."It is clear I have started 2020 with bad luck. I am very well and must obey health authorities and stay isolated," his post read.
As Garay was in isolation he cannot come into contact with his children and wife, Tamara Gorro a noted influencer. Following this Gorro took to Instagram to post a heart-touching post that echos her pain tough moments as the couple got separated.
In the picture, Ezequiel Garay can be seen looking at his wife through the window of his room as Gorro has pressed her hand to the glass and gives him a flying kiss.
"Together at a distance (Eze is wearing mask on medical recommendations)," Gorro captioned the picture.
