American social media conglomerate corporation Facebook hits back at opposition Congress party's claims of batting a blind eye at hate speech of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leaders.
A Facebook spokesperson rubbished all the allegations of ignoring the hate speech that can potentially incite violence and said they don't have any alliance with any political party.
The Spokesperson went on to say that they will not entertain any sort of hate speech and content and the hate-speech policies are applicable across the globe without any restrictions.
Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi accused BJP of controlling Facebook and WhatsApp and cited the news article carried out by a leading international daily which claims that Facebook is not taking the hate content of the ruling party seriously.
Rahul Gandhi even made allegations that with the help of Facebook and WhatsApp BJP is spreading fake news in the favour of the party and its leaders.
