According to the new research from Global Web Index, Tumblr pushed Facebook to several steps backward in the category of fastest growing social networking sites.
Tumblr: While its Registered Users total grew by 45%, Active Users Grew by 120% in the past six months.
Facebook active users grew only 2% in the past 6 months. On the other hand, Twitter users grew by 26% in the same period.
What's more depressing is that about 50% of American and British Netizens have been using Facebook less frequently than before. While 45% of the users are less interested, 37% of them are bored with the social media gaint. Especially, Teens are preferring other social networking sites than Facebook.
