Finally, it was comeuppance time for another TDP strongman. The police arrested Tadpatri former MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son JC Asmit Reddy from their Hyderabad residence on Saturday morning. With this, he becomes the third important TDP leader to be arrested after Chintamaneni Prabhakar and Atchen Naidu.
Motor-mouth strongman from Tadpatri, JC Prabhakar Reddy is now being shifted to Ananatapur where cases have been registered against him for registering BS 3 vehicles as BS 4 category vehicles and there by duped the Transport department. Till now, they have got 154 such vehicles registered in faraway Nagaland. So far 24 cases have been booked against JC Travels, which JC owns, in Tadpatri police station on the issue of fake registrations.
JC brothers, who knew that they would be arrested anytime on the issue of fake registrations, have tried several strategems to evade it. They even tried to join the BJP to save themselves. But, the BJP did not evince much interest in them and they even tried to get closer to the YSRCP. But, the party point blank refused entry.
