Fast Track Court Awards Death Penalty For Hajipur Case Accused

Sidda Venkata Viswanatha Reddy, the additional District Judge of the Nalgonda District has awarded the death penalty to Marri Srinivas Reddy convict in the brutal rape and murder of three minor girls in the Hajipur village.

Looking back at the three barbaric incidents the first incident took place in April 2015 when the first victim was returning to Mysireddypally village from Hajipur fell pray for Srinivas Reddy. The victim started to run when he began to advance with her. The convict has packed her in a bag and buried the bag it in the well.

The second incident happened in March 2019, where Reddy trapped the victim who is in late teens in the pretext of offering her lift and took her to a well. He has raped and killed the victim and took away her phone and Rs 400 from her. The postmortem reports said that her death was not natural.

Reddy offered a lift to a 14-year-old girl who was walking home in April 2019. While going he gathered all the details from her and later took her to his agriculture well and raped her and killed her. The postmortem examination revealed that she had a wound on her chest which was caused by a sharp weapon.

This news has left the family members of the victims and the villagers who are fighting for justice for the girls who had lost their in the horrifying incidents as they started to celebrate the court's verdict.
