Telangana Students selected for NASA Challenge

A Group of Five Students from SR Engineering College in Warangal have been selected for NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge. These Students will take part in the 5th Annual Challenge scheduled to happen from April 12th to 14th next year in Huntsville of Alabama, US.

Students from 23 Countries across the World will participate in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge. One of the four teams from India have been short-listed to compete with the best in the World.

SR Engineering College Team comprising of Students Prakash Raineni, P Paul Vineeth, Rondla Dilipreddy, Aand Venishetty Sneha and P Sravan Rao will be led by Faculty Manoj Chaudhary. Together, They gonna come up with a Moon Buggy Design & Report to present their idea.

NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge was first introduced as NASA Great Moonbuggy Race in the year 1994, 25 years post first manned Apollo landed on the Moon. Current focus is on National Aeronautics and Space Administration which include exploring planets, asteroids and comets. Over 10,000 Students which include aspiring scientists and engineers have participated in the NASA Great Moonbuggy Race so far.
